Thankful

Lately I have realized just how much I have blessed in my life. There are so many things that I should be thankful for, and I didn't really understand how lucky I am until just recently.

1. I graduated. Yes, me..I did it! My senior year was full of craziness and sickness, and I honestly was hanging on by a thread. I was so sick that my grades went from A's to F's and in the final month of school I pulled up every single one of my grades back up and I passed everything. I honestly don't think I have ever prayed harder than I did these past few weeks. I know I wouldn't have made it without God's grace.

2. I got a car for graduation. Oh yes, and it's not a "little beater" either. My sister and her husband blessed me by giving me one of their cars, a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville. They put in new brake pads, made sure the oil was changed, cleaned everything up.. it's perfect! And it drives really smooth! This was a total shock, I didn't actually think they were serious when they said they were giving it to me. I love it. :)

3. I have an amazing family who loves me. My family is great, every single one of 'em, especially my mom. She has always supported me in all of my decisions and helped me when I was in need. But most important, she has loved me through it all, even if I didn't quite love myself very much. My family seriously means the world to me.

4. I have a healthy, strong, body and mind. I have decided that I am going to help others in any way I can. There is no reason why I shouldn't volunteer somewhere, for something, anything. I am perfectly able to help others, and I have recently gained the drive for helping others, I just want to help with everything lately. Although, I don't know where to start..ideas would be great! lol

I could write a list to 100 but I doubt anyone would read it all! haha These are just some of the few things on my mind lately. :)

FlashForward

Ahhhh!! Okay, so I'm not much of a TV person, but since I've had some extra time lately I've been watching different shows on Hulu.com. One show I found really interesting was FlashForward.. I think it's an older show (this shows just how much I watch TV) it came out a few months ago but is still running to this day. I was totally hooked from the first episode!

"The series revolves around the lives of several people as a mysterious event causes nearly everyone on the planet to simultaneously lose consciousness for two minutes and seventeen seconds on October 6, 2009. During this "blackout," people see what appear to be visions of their lives on April 29, 2010, a global "flashforward."

I was on Hulu when I found this show, but it only had the later episodes..so I did a little searching on Google and I found all of the episodes!! Here is the first one, it will definitely get you hooked on this show!

I did it!!!

So, this is my very first blog post, and I am really happy I figured out everything! After a few days of trying to make my own background and header, I gave up and found this cute one on a website! Hopefully I will get better with practice..

I guess I'll start by saying I am excited with the way my life has been going lately.I have been in such a good mood today, it started out a little off but after thinking a little more positive it all changed around. (This quote explains it pretty well.)

I have done a total 180 with pretty much every aspect in my life, starting with devoting my life to Christ! I started being more positive and believing in myself, trusting God will lead my life to where it needs to be. There are so many things I want to say, but I don't even know where to start.. so I think I'll like having this blog thing :)
